Domestic Students

Welcome to the application process! Thomas More College uses a rolling admissions process; there are no deadlines to apply. It is perfectly acceptable to send your application in parts. Once our incoming class fills up, admitted students move to a wait list.

Admission to Thomas More College is competitive. However, unlike many colleges and universities, our admissions process is free—and short.  Within one week of submitting your complete application, you will receive a decision from the Admissions Committee.

See below for the steps to complete your academic application to the College.  You will also find buttons to the other steps in the enrollment process.

Six Steps to Apply

The Online Application: Begin by filling out and submitting the initial part of the online application. Once you submit this, you will be given access to the full application, and will be sent a link via email so you can return to your application whenever you want. The application will save itself, and if you ever lose that link, you can resubmit the initial part and it will be resent to you.

The Application Essay: To keep things simple, we have integrated the online application and essay submission. Once you have begun your online application, write a two to three page essay which discusses a person, place, text or event that has deepened your desire to know the truth. Then, simply drag and drop your essay in the box in the application form.

Letters of Recommendation: We ask that you request two letters of recommendation: one academic, and one that speaks to your character. Once you have begun your online application, simply enter the email address of the references you’ve asked into the ‘letter of recommendation’ boxes, and they will be sent an email from us with a short form for them to fill out.

Transcripts: Contact each high school and college (if applicable) that you have attended and request that your official transcripts be sent to Thomas More College of Liberal Arts. Thomas More College also accepts the GED.If you are home schooled and do not use a program with an accredited transcript please use our Home School Transcript.

Standardized Testing: Finally, Thomas More does not currently require standardized test scores. We do, however, welcome test results from the Classic Learning Test, ACT or SAT. The school code for the SAT 3892. The school code for the ACT 2531.
