Bridget graduated from Thomas More in the spring of 2018. While at TMC, she served as a member of Student Council, planning and organizing events for the student body, and sang in the student schola, as well as the St. Philip Neri guild.
Before coming to Thomas More, Bridget sang in the schola at her parish, St. John the Guardian of Our Lady, under the direction of Mr. Paul Jernberg. During her time in the schola she learned to sing chant and polyphony, at the same time receiving a thorough formation in the traditions of sacred music. She had the great blessing of experiencing the tradition of sacred music as a living one, as the St. John’s schola was the first to sing Mr. Jernberg’s compositions.
Besides singing, Bridget’s great loves are Scottish fiddle music and English literature.
The relationship of beauty and truth has always been of great importance to Bridget. Her reflections on the matter led her to write her senior thesis on Stories as a Path to God.
