Dr. Robert M. Augros was born in Richmond, California and graduated from St. Mary’s College in Moraga. He then earned a doctorate in philosophy from Laval University, Quebec, Canada. He retired from the St. Anselm College philosophy department (Manchester, NH) in 2018, after teaching there for 48 years. His academic interests are logic, ethics, philosophy of nature, philosophy of science, and natural theology. Professor Augros has written two books, many articles and has delivered many scholarly addresses. He and his wife, Marie, have nine children, 45 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
