Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is the perfect course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. The WFA certification course is 16 hours long (two days), and focuses on the basic skills of: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies. The course includes an optional CPR module. Upon completing the course, students will receive a SOLO Wilderness First Aid Certification.
Who: Ages 16+ (Those under 18 may attend with a signed parental waiver)
When: June 24 & 25, 2019, 8am-5pm. Optional CPR module on Monday, June 24, 6-8pm
Where: Thomas More College of Liberal Arts, Six Manchester Street, Merrimack, NH
Cost: $215 per person. $235 with optional CPR module.
