On Sunday, September 23, Thomas More College of Liberal Arts held its annual Tea and Shoot. This end-of-summer tradition allows the women to don elegant, floral dresses, sunhats, and fascinators, while the men clothe themselves in tweeds and Tattersalls. Replete with tea, Pimms, cucumber sandwiches, cookies, and lawn games, it has all the makings of an English garden party—especially with the attendance of Fr. Crean and the transfer students from Newman College, who hail from the United Kingdom and Ireland.
