A Matter of Life and Death: The Battle for a True Education

Monday, September 12 at 7:30 PM
Mercy Hall, 90 Concord Street, Nashua, NH

A free public presentation sponsored by the Center for the Restoration of Christian Culture
of Thomas More College

Come hear renowned author Joseph Pearce reveal the marks of a true education, one which counters the culture of death with eternal life-giving verities. In an age of radical relativism and secular fundamentalism, the very future of education is threatened. Joseph Pearce unmasks the poison of modern education and its anti-Christian agenda, and fortifies students and parents with a vision that is true, good, and beautiful. No registration required.

At the risk of seeming a trifle sensationalist, this ongoing affront to educational standards is nothing short of being a crime against humanity. Let’s not forget that the humanities are thus called because they teach us about our own humanity. A failure to appreciate the humanities must inevitably lead to the dehumanizing of culture and a disastrous loss of the ability to see ourselves truthfully and objectively.
