Thomas More College of Liberal Arts is proud to offer the Catholic Renewal Scholarship, a special scholarship designed to support students who have been prepared in high school to appreciate and understand the riches of the education offered at Thomas More.
“The current renewal of Catholic education is a movement aimed at restoring the richness of the Catholic intellectual tradition by returning to the classical roots of learning,” said Senior Admissions Officer Michael Yost ’18. “In this model, students engage deeply with subjects like philosophy, theology, literature, and the arts in a way that integrates faith and reason. Schools participating in this renewal emphasize a holistic education that shapes the whole person—intellectually, spiritually, and morally.”
“In support of this mission, Thomas More College offers the Catholic Renewal Scholarship,” Mr. Yost continued. “This unique scholarship is designed to recognize students who have been prepared in high schools committed to this educational vision. These students are particularly well-suited for the rigorous and spiritually enriching education offered at Thomas More College.”
The Catholic Renewal Scholarship is valued at $15,000 per year and is available to qualified freshmen applicants. To be considered for the award, the applicant must be enrolled in one of the specified schools or homeschool programs. “Through it,” stated Mr. Yost in closing, “Thomas More College affirms its commitment to forming students who will lead and renew Catholic education for generations to come.”
