What you need to know

Instruct your bank or financial institution to send the college a letter showing your account balance (in USD).

Every international student must upload a copy of the photo page on their passport. You can upload the image below.

Once the college has received the items above, we will send you an I-20 form, which will include your SEVIS ID number.

Once you have received the I-20 form from the college, you can visit a United States embassy or consulate to obtain a student visa for the semester(s) you will be attending Thomas More College.

For our own insurance requirements, all students attending Thomas More College must receive a physical before attending.   We recommend scheduling a physical as soon as possible.  Please have your doctor complete and return the health form (included with your acceptance letter) to the College.

If you have not already done so, send in a copy of your final high school transcripts

All applicants who are non-native speakers of English must demonstrate English language proficiency by completing the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).  A minimum score of 85 or better on the internet-based TOEFL (iBT) is required along with strong sub scores in each of the four areas.  Official copies of scores must be submitted directly from the testing agency. Student copies are not considered official.
