TMC offers counseling for students through an agreement with an external counseling center, up to five sessions per student per semester. Please contact the Office of Student Life or Title IX Coordinator(s) for more information. Additionally, pastoral care is available through TMC’s Chaplains.
TMC is happy to offer Career Development services and resources to students, which—depending on the needs of the particular student—may include: one-on-one career planning meetings, resume and cover letter review, Career Development events, hosting recruiters on campus, providing access to networking and internship opportunities through our alumni network, and more. Please see the Office of Student Life for more information.
Everyone at The Thomas More College of Liberal Arts is concerned about the safety and well being of each person on campus. Of course, a truly safe campus can only be maintained through the cooperation of the entire College community, which includes the students as well as the faculty and staff. Members of a good community are stewards of their common property and show solicitude for the belongings of their friends and neighbors. Members of the College community ultimately must assume responsibility for their own actions and their own personal safety. The foundation of safety and well-being can be found in the conscious cultivation of prudence, but even more so in simple, common sense precautions.
