Biography
Joel Marshall was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For several years, he sang under the direction of world-renowned director and Cambridge-trained organist Paul Halley. Mr. Marshall initially moved to the U.S. to attend Thomas More College of Liberal Arts and served as director of the Thomas More College Choir. Since graduating in 2024, he continues to direct the choir and is eager to continue developing the choral tradition at the College.
Mr. Marshall is currently a member of the St. Thomas More Teaching Fellows, who serve as Catholic school teachers in the Archdiocese of Boston. He teaches history, science, and religion at Our Lady of the Annunciation in Melrose, MA.
His other interests include fitness, traveling, American history, following current events, and psychology.
