Congratulations on your acceptance to one of Thomas More College's Summer Programs! Thomas More College (TMC) has been providing high school students with a unique opportunity to experience the Great Books in preparation for college for over 40 years. We ask that you make a firm commitment to attend the program by signing and returning this letter (along with your down payment) by the date specified on our website, with the remaining balance to be likewise paid before the stipulated deadline. Cancellation after this point, or failure to attend without notice, will not necessarily result in a refund. Refunds will be issued at the College's discretion, as cancellations leave waitlisted applicants insufficient time to alter their summer plans and creates a vacancy in the program. Failure to submit payment and a signed commitment will result in your place in the program being filled by the next applicant on the waiting list. (For Great Books Summer Program Participants: Our generous donors have a created a scholarship fund which allows us to offer the programs for only $500; less than half the actual cost. Naturally, this opportunity has drawn in far more applicants than we are able to accept, making admission into the program highly competitive. By signing below, you are accepting this scholarship.) I, the undersigned, commit myself to the attendance of the TMC Summer Program for which I have applied and submitted my application. I also recognize that, should I choose to apply to enroll in TMC's undergraduate program, I am eligible to receive the Summer Program Scholarship, which is valued at $4,000 over the course of four years at TMC, pending my attendance of any TMC Summer Program.
