The 2025 Faith & Reason Scholarship Contest is now open to all incoming freshmen at Thomas More College (entering in Fall 2026).
The awards offered in the contest are:
- One full tuition scholarship for four years.
- Five half tuition scholarships for four years.
- Seven $3,500 scholarships for four years.
- All other participants will be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship for four years.
There are three steps to entering the Faith & Reason Scholarship Contest:
- Apply to Thomas More College and submit your FAFSA.
- Write an essay on Plato’s “Apology of Socrates” (view the prompt).
- Interview with a member of the College’s Admissions team.
The contest deadline is November 1, 2025—an adjustment from previous years. This change allows contest applicants who are accepted to the College to also qualify for TMC’s new $5,000 Early Action scholarship.
